hmmm... Is this a sign of the old mans frustration for the lack of progress in recent years? Does he doubt the current executives capability to favourably position Immutep in any new collaborations? To me he seems like the type that would rather be in the lab tinkering away, however now he desires to be in the front line negotiating with potential new partners.
