Usually exceptionally good results "dictates" discontinuing the trial and putting all patients on the real drug. Likewise, serious adverse effects can result in discontinuing the trial. The latter is highly important and relevant here (and some do not quite appreciate it), as a serious adverse effect is at the minimum to be repoerted to the blind parties. Hence "no news is good news" applies, and the least we can say here is that drug is safe. AIMO.
