Gastric cancer at metastatic stage is a very aggressive disease and even a 1 year survival is a good outcome - this patient has survived two years and going.
While this may still be a statistical anomaly (although unlikely, since patient did not respond to previous therapies), or some form of "miracle" or other unexplained factor, if we reproduce just similar result or even anything between 1-2 years survival in such cases, it is IMO a discovery! It will at the very least mean we are barking at the right tree and that we are on the right track with this.
Of course it may also be the case that by 2020 we may be changing the game!
