Not questioning the science  Ahjay - to the contra in fact - poorly explained on my part perhaps. Simply saying as a leader in a very hot market segment I would not put out a message that the "business" is up for grabs but rather that individual lic agreements preferred (hence the ref to propaganda). My underlying point being that if this science is as sound as it appears (lots of others in earlier stage chasing similar solutions) and can be multi directed then it will take significant specialist resources to ultimately bring a suite of products to market. That in turn would require significant scaling of our little IMM and the ability to serve several masters. On the other side of the coin big pharma has the muscle to handle the play but some aspects (worthwhile products/ ) may end up getting shelved along the way for any number of reasons and I am sure management is not keen to see that happen. Both solutions as always have positives and negatives.  At the end of the day it is usually the $'s that win the argument. Anyway all academic really so probably worth disregarding.
