With so much riding in the data readouts of these trials, probably understandable they want to ensure the candidates stack up.
Not saying they are stacking the deck, but while the heart might say add this one as they are close enough, that could be the difference between statistically significant or.. meh.
I hate trials, so imoatient. I think should have gone into healthcare and groceries:S
