Webjets domestic business is based on their being at least three airlines to compare simultaneously so if there is just qantas or Jetstar wouldn’t you go to their own site to book direct. Qantas would modify their site so that all Jetstar and Qantas flights were available so to wipe out any convenience that a booking engine offers. So webjet need Air Nz and Virgin or else they are doomed. I do think that Virgin is too good a product not to find a buyer in some form, but tiger will be extinct.
