There seems to be too many question marks over hydrogen still that it is hard to count it in any investment case for APA:

1. It doesn't really work in gas transmission lines like WGP pipeline as the Hydrogen weakens the steel in the pipe.
2. It is more likely for Hydrogen to be produced where costs, including transport costs, can be kept to a minimum. So Hydrogen production plants less likely to be in a place where the producer has to pay APA to transport it to where it is needed. Gas fields never had the option of where to be positioned and hence the need for gas transmission pipes.
3. Production of hydrogen costs too much. People are already pissed off about the price of gas
