I been following CCP for many years, they do well in all cycles the key to their magic is how much they are paying for the ledger
CCP has a very system of doing it, they usually spot on with their buy but I don't know what is going on in the last few years, maybe management becomes hubris and ignore what their system analyst tells them what price to pay.
it ok for them to not able to collect a lot on the ledger as long as they don't pay too much for that debt but obviously this is not the case as it stands
