Thanks @jogo for your balanced view. i could not agree more on your post with one minor point.  The value on SEN books is written down as an accounting procedure which does not mean the asset value is zero if/when the assets are sold.

A more careful reading of the announcement shows the company is being wound up because of management differences on the way forward with administrators disposing of the company's business. As such there is likely to be some value pending sale etc.  This may well allow SEN to obtain or increase their ownership in what is leading edge tech.
