@You3OAte .... I sold 90% of my holding early last year when I made it clear on this forum that IMHO all was not going well because of some (again IMHO) very dodgy announcements. I've even acknowledged that I did keep some for sale in the next financial year, which of course we have never traded in. So yes still holding because I couldn't dump them..

Scott Lowe the only person mentioned as being involved in the discussions with Mali govt, leaves the company on 1st Sept, so hasn't solved anything. The existing BOD hasn't been involved other than employing others to do the work from this afternoon's announcement.

IMHO the people prepared to do the job are passionate about this, so if they were like me in any way, would be in the office reading up on every bit of information possible from day 1, getting in contact with the company lawyers to get their interpretation of what's happening really quickly.
As someone that's taken on top level public servants in a couple of totally separate fields, and won because I was passionate about the issues and not an expert in either at the beginning, I have no fear about those trying to be elected. There is no way they could do a worse job than those currently in charge.
