I agree with you that the party faithful do display a lack of education.

However I don't agree that those same small shareholders have anything to do with solutions to puzzles or display any thoughts from outside the box. They are simply invested, defensive of their decision to invest and greatly encouraged by the bonanza around the corner, tantalisingly close yet just out of reach.

All of those unimaginative mining professionals aside, it would appear that there are thousands of unimaginative investors who aren't buying the bonanza.
