There is research, but there are times when we (humans) dont understand what truly is happening and why. In that case we treat it as a black box. We put something in, and we have a reasonable understanding on what will come out of it, but how exactly it happens ... Unclear.

Take the human brain for example, we can observe it in action, we know its general anatomy, but we actually dont really know how information is processed, how neural pathways function.

I guess what I am trying to say is that we dont need all the answers to understand what effect we get from a process...

The problem is that some of us are expecting perfection, wle some of us are expecting progress.

With perfection being the enemy of progress, i can understand why there is so much discourse
