Ah, looks like I have misunderstood the meaning of “Top line results”.
I had a look at FTT which got smashed today after failed Ph2 trial. Back in Oct they also expected “Top line results” to come out in mid Nov. It seems implausible that the management didn’t even know the trial progress until the trading halt yesterday.
So.. “top line results” seems to simply mean “high-level information without going too much into detail”, or something like that. It doesn’t necessarily mean excellent results. Can anyone help?
Anyway the difference with Imu is we’re still in Ph1b & Leslie has been openly stating no adverse effect & all patients developed antibody, whereas FTT was Ph2 & had always been secretive about the patient condition.
Dear me, I feel so sorry to everyone who invested in FTT & really hope we get good results.
