About frikken time!! The last thing a tinpot ASX Bio Wannabe need is a US$32m p/a manufacturing millstone around their neck. Any ASX Bio that wants to go downstream into manufacturing is on a one way ticket to insolvency. There are plenty of case studies of this to refer to over the past 25 years.
The Azer-Cell IP was the beginning and the end of the value in that deal. Thank christ they've offloaded the headcount and production risk to an AT CDMO that knows what they're doing.
And fwiw, the price, upfront or otherwise, is an irrelevance.
