I've re-read the announcement several times as I read it the same as you, that is to say that it has occurred a bit earlier than i'd hoped and I was concerned it could be a negative result.
I'm still not entirely sure what they are meaning and the announcement could have been stated clearer, but in the interview Leslie is "gleefully happy" and in line with the previously reported HR, the OS and PFS "Should look pretty similar to what we saw initially".
I was pleasantly surprised with the interim results, so Leslie's confidence that the trial should finish with largely the same outcome is a welcome result. Bring on some combination trials!
