Every time he says “experienced life science investors”, you know he’s done another favour to his invisible mates. This one is going under the microscope. I suspect he might be becoming a little deluded about the risks to his support, or maybe it’s nervous, not sure yet, but the highly defensive responses are not a good sign, after what seems like a major error of judgement. There again, I’ll stand corrected if we are offered a satisfactory explanation.
