It's a lease that they're getting, not buying the place.

On the whole there's so much to unpack out of all of this and it'd be interesting to hear how it's all supposed to come together, hopefully with a couple of explainer chats from LC and the team, there needs to be some time put into communicating what a large move like this is all about.
Also, I dislike options etc, but it seems that's the game. So here we are again...

From my perspective, it almost seems like they're taking this on board for the following:
A: Because it's a great fit.
2: They're expecting it to produce some cashflow within the next couple of years (registrational study success pending, with commencement in about 18months etc etc).
C: I needed another bullet point to complete the joke.

As for those that suggest that all of this means that that CF33 (onCARlytics program) isn't working as suggested, I would point to this pretty definitive comment on page 7



And also page 22 stating the combination treatment for solid tumours.
