Legitimate question,
Given the following;
1. IMU will most likely drop out of the ASX200 on 1st September prompting a sell off of shares by ASX200/300 indexes
2. The capital raise does not specify who the new and old soph's are
3. The placement gave a significant discount to an already depressed share price
4. Shorters have been on the rise significantly DURING the time that this deal was being negotiated
What are the chances that these Soph's will either
1. Dump the shares they hold and keep the options?
2. Use their shares to increase short positions given the 4 points above leading almost certainly to a significant drop in shareprice over the next month?
3. Optimism here... Or this was indeed the deal of a life time and IMU is now pivoting direction away from the line "we will sell to BP BEFORE stage 2" ?
