This deal is an amazing deal. She has set the company up to be a beacon to big Pharma, and now has 4 paths to monetisation. Total flexibility.
The science here is so big we probably needed to be prepared to look at any deal structure to maximise the opportunities.
And we can now turn down any approach or offer that isn’t in our best interest. LC has ticked off two big items on her life’s bucket list . Creating another Genentech and curing cancer. Stellar achievement.
