AICp acts like he’s got some special insight here and is the only person who sees a disconnect between the share price and fundamentals (even though he doesn’t understand what fundamentals are)….posters like him are all over HC forums for small-caps, banging on about how the market hasn’t valued this or that, and it’s a great time to accumulate or buy more, the re-rate is coming etc.
It may well come and I hope everyone here benefits (not to mention cancer sufferers of course), but to act like it’s a foregone conclusion because the share price went down when you think it shouldn’t have (and your own perspective is clouded by all kinds of things including confirmation biases, being extremely emotionally and financially invested etc) is pretty reckless tbh. And it’s disingenuous to say it’s low risk, just because it (apparently) can’t go much lower….buy more if you want, but if you are buying more now when you’re already heavily committed, and have been buying all the way down on a 90% drop, that’s actually high risk. Again, it may work out but in most cases it won’t and there are sad tales littered across the ASX of companies that looked like groundbreaking, undervalued, sure-thing tickets to wealth….until they weren’t. Nothing wrong with a bit of a gamble, but recognise what it is. You may have the strongest convictions and be proven right, and if so, you got lucky. It can easily go the other way, no matter how great you think the science is (and let’s face it, hardly any of us here are scientists),
