Get where you are coming from Jase however devils advocate it could simply be the natural response to a somewhat no go / cheeky question (I know you and you know you cant expect and answer type response). Having watched a number of interviews from the past my take (really interested to get others view) was this was a Leslie we have not really seen in interviews before - somewhat personally tired perhaps but far more relaxed or less circumspect / cautious in her language. Didn't particularly give anything away but was not concerned or looking to get caught out either.
Possibly still way too early to be talking deals on tables etc however replayed this one a couple of times and just got the feeling the pressure has somehow been released. Just me so I may have gotten too close to the coffee grounds.
