Well - I have had a closer look at the poster. Two really interesting things leap out at me.

First up - it tells us the actual dose level escalation plan. At last!

Cohort 1 was just 10 to the 5th - which we knew. 100,000 PFU - A "teeny weeny dose" a Prof Fong put it.

Cohort 2 was 3 times that - 300,000. Still a trivial dose.

AT Cohort 3 they escalated to 10 to the 6th - 1 million PFU - still very low really, but tarting to reach the point where (based on mice result) we might see the start of actual effectiveness. Cohort 4 will be 3 x that or 3 million - then they escalate by an order of magnitude again, to 10 to the 7th (10 million PFY, then, 3 x that for the next cohort etc.

So - the data in the presentation at the conference is only for patients who have been in Cohorts 1, 2 or 3. Ie - most of the 8 patients were at dose levels too small to expect anything remarkable in terms of impact. I assume the first 3 were at Cohort 1. The second group of 3 at Cohort 2, so maybe just 2 patients at Cohort 3.

Cohort 3 - 1 million PFU, is getting into the lower end of what might be a clinically effective dose (based on what the saw in mice, and taking into account that humans are around 3,500 larger than mice).

So - for me the standout fascinating item I the picture in Figure B showing a cancer lesion that has necrosis - ie it is falling apart - with the statement: B) Patient COH-008 received CF33-hNIS-antiPD-L1 at DL3 (1x106 PFU). Injected lesions were superior left chest wall nodules. Injected nodules demonstrated necrosis on clinical exam

This is huge news. We are seeing CF33 killing cancer.
