It’s a derisking moment. If the Azer-Cel trials were to fail we’ve already got our money back and we are off the hook.
If they are a big success, we’ve got our supply lines sorted. And the cost of goods will be insignificant once the drugs hit the market. Probably around $3-$400k patient for The first indication. Seriously big money.
Once the first 10 cohort in the confirmation trial is successful, this is ready to licence or sell off.
