I wouldn't call it a pivot.
In fact many here have been speculating that Imugene might aquire a CD19 CAR company for a while now. I had my money on Arovella given the current collaboration and the fact that PH stepped down as their Chairman.
But it makes sense to aquire or license a CD19 CAR technology that is much closer to commercialisation, such as this one.
Orphan designation and fast track designation. Incredible.
YF did mention that they plan on starting a cellular onCARlytics trial next year. Maybe it will be with this product?
