agreed - I caught a flu while recovering from a minor hip procedure a few years ago and it became pneumonia and turned septic cos I wasn’t moving, all while on antibiotics and as a non-smoker - 7 weeks hospital and big lung surgery that wrecked intercostal rib nerves - so survived but it’s buggered my right diaphragm and constant pain on breathing and that’s not cancer of the lung. But one counts one’s chickens that one got through. Early retirement at 55 and it’s a challenge but hey thems the breaks. I have no idea how a lung cancer survivor copes as it must be exceedingly worse. So let’s hope we hear more about the 1000 day patient soon from the conference. Good luck.
