@fattchoi No double standards here. Bisantrene has achieved more CRs in AML patients than there have been patients in the MAST trial. All of the patients that responded to Bisantrene were refractory to other therapies.

Bisantrene could really only begin to be understood in 2020 after the discovery of FTO inhibition, and again with the discovery of a cardioprotective MoA. It's really up to you whether you decide efficacy demonstrated in historic clinical trials is due to the inhibition of FTO.

First to market in new drug class = maximum value
Drug class has broad indication reach = maximum opportunity
Drug class has proven synergy in humans and many preclinical models = minimum risk of competition
Bisantrene has established clinical efficacy = significantly reduced clinicl risk
