It assures the company that all IMUOA options that are outstanding as at 30Nov20, will be converted. This guarantees funding, (pro's) as expressed in the announcement. There are in excess of 200m options due to expire on that date. By having the outstanding funds underwritten, we are guaranteed to get the funding to meet IP and other milestones. Leslie states it quite simply in the announcement.
