If you can find it, watch it again. During the Q&A about partnership, LC went through them very quickly. From what I can gather, Her-Vaxx having an equivalent like Herceptin and other treatment out there, the big pharma are NOT that interested. From what I can read between the line, the big pharma even if they are interested, won't be rushing in and paying big dollar because the really big pharmas already have their own equivalent products out there. Hence, those many biosims to Herceptin in the market already.
So, instead of focussing time and energy on the Her-Vaxx PFS which is not going to yield much, IMU have decided to focus on the CF33 and its latest OnCarlytics. According to her, there are already huge interest there and the big pharma might even strike before the OnCarlytics go to trial. After all, this is truly something that nobody else have. So big pharma, if they see the potential success, will more likely to want to be first to strike than not.
And the following is my own speculation here. I believe the approach for Her-Vaxx is very predatory. In other words, very low ball offer simply because the big pharmas already have a product out there. Not as good but good enough to have good revenue. So they are not desperate. And IMU have rejected them. Hence the sudden change in direction and going for that big cap raise. If big pharma are not willing to pay what it is worth for Her-Vaxx, IMU is going to go it alone on this. It will reach a point when Her-Vaxx might go to market and actually challenge Herceptin and whatever is out there. Only then, maybe the big pharma would be forced to dig deep and pay up.
I stress, above are my own interpretation after watching that latest Proactive interview. And it makes sense too. If big pharma are clamouring to buy Her-Vaxx, then why bother or need for cap raise? That question has been asked before and it makes sense. The fact that the company cap raise can only mean that either there is no interest or very low ball offer.
And that is why a few days ago, I decided to ask on here whether IMU can market Her-Vaxx in the Asian markets without FDA approval? After all, each jurisdiction have its own need and can approve something good even if FDA have not. In countries like Indonesia, India, and Phillipines especially where there is a high incidence of gastric cancer, and very poor population, if IMU can offer Her-Vaxx at a fraction of what Herceptin cost, and get the market going there, it would still have loads of revenue plus loads of real life data. Just a matter of whether IMU would want to choose that route. Plus, I am a noob in this aspect, so don't know if IMU can take this route. If IMU can even market Her-Vaxx in just either Indonesia or India, that would be huge in itself.
