The boom is over, but demand for graphite is still increasing. The use of graphite in lithium ion batteries and other high tech applications is expected to more than double the world demand for natural flake graphite by 2020. Take a look at what's happening in China and you have to agree demand will soar.

Also, there's graphite and there's graphite. When the boom finished, stock prices fell from their way-overvalued levels. A number of explorers will no doubt fail. But there will always be demand for high-quality, economically extractable ore - especially coarse flake with high expandability. And that's exactly what IXR is sitting on.

If the MOU leads to a firm off-take agreement and financing, the sky is the limit for IXR. The other catalyst that will unshackle the shareprice is an announcement on Termite. I don't think this will come for some time now that we've had the "standstill" agreement, but when that issue can be finally put to bed, the shareprice will increase in multiples in a very short period of time.
