I completely agree. Although the sp has been tempered by broader market weakness, ASH has not looked this attractive for several years. The CA was a big uncertainty that has now been removed, so the market can now focus on the strongly growing recruitment business (particularly Concept Engineering) and increasingly, the training business. Recent announcements highlight that Qld and WA training are performing well and profitably, with the division results held back by Vic losses. Assuming Vic ramps up as expected from the recent investment/ focus, Vic will go from a drag to adding to profits which will add significantly to the bottom line. RS wouldnt bother with the training business unless he sees a multi million $ profit potential. His shareholder focus also suggests he may be proactive in realising value (via M&A, trade sale, buyout etc) if the shareprice doesnt respond to these improving results.
