What they seem to be blissfully unaware of (or don’t want to mention) is that their expansions are putting upward pressure on TCs (in a well supplied zinc concentrate market) and will eventually downward pressure on zinc prices which affects ALL their production and not just the expansion volumes.
So they are increasing volumes to try desperately to turn cashflow positive but if the prices are dropping and TCs are increasing by putting additional volumes in the market they are back to square one - losing money.
Not sure how you see zinc rallying when there is a massive surplus of concentrates in the market?
