I'm not underestimating the significance of this announcement. Sure, a few more steps to go, but the company is moving one step closer each time and rapidly.
This is what was key for me and yet another important step in vivo.

In a test tube first, now translating to in-vivo.
As I highlighted a few days ago...it looks to me like a similar model to Cas9, but the dendritic cells do all the heavy lifting, just like CAR-T or TIL therapy.
This is similar to the ongoing work on CAR-T. How this program would work...
* The intra dermal injection would go into the skin.
* This would then stimulate the dendritic cells in the skin.
* Where they would go into the skin releasing the t-cells into the blood.
* The T-cells would travel through the blood and
* It would do this until the receptor recognises the tumour antigen, before it kills the tumour cell.
Programming the t-cells to detect the tumour. How clever is that!
Looking forward to the head assessment of PYC’s CPPs against the commercially competitive product in the first quarter of 2019.
