In a way, the US *WAS* all over this, just not in a sane or sustainable way.
At the end of the day, there's not much one can do if third parties decide to pump a stock into the stratosphere, then dump it hard.
We're learning this in the life and times of Dojecoin and Gamestop.
It doesn't matter to us long term holders, but I feel very sorry for any traders who bought into the hype and bought in above $50.00 (yikes) and are now looking at 80%+ losses. Either they what would be for them "very long", or they have to eat the loss.
So yeah, we just have to wait for the aftemath of all that to settle, and as you mentioned, for a catalyst to start helping the US market to adjust.
In the meantime, any investors the BOD and their US advisors are talking to are no doubt loving the buying right now. It should be some comfort that quite a bit of what is being sold on the NASDAQ is probably being bought by MUCH firmer, and dare I say "smarter" hands.
I look forward to the coming NASDAQ A-HA moments.
