obviously and thats great. the issue is, why offer them at all. does the bod not expect the sp to appreciate past 28.5 by that time, and if they do why offer them. 2 years is a long time and if the sp isnt above that level they wont be exercised anyway. just a huge kick to you and i, the 'loyal'shareholders.
problem with offfering free 1:1 options with such a long expiry is that this investor can offload all these shares atthe ex price, creating a huge resistance, and carry zero risk for 2 years there is no incentive for them to get the sp any higher than 28.5c. if you cant see that 1:1 options is crap in a cr that ihl should have been negotiating from a position of power in then i cant say anything else but good luck to you
