A significant difference between XAM and HCH is the presence of gold at surface. That makes a lot of difference in getting cashflow early and thus improves DCF and IRR values. In fact XAM produces gold early which is what the Chinese want now.
They are all about expanding the use of their currency into countries like Ethiopia and Russia. No one else wants that that's why gold is needed. Pretty sure countries like Cuba, North Korea and and Venezuela would like gold too. Even the (to quote Trump) "shit hole" countries in Africa are being gold but being offered yuan.
