The QAN announcement today reveals that these EDTO E190’s are going to be used on new international routes, Brisbane to Wellington (daily) and Brisbane to Honiara (3 times weekly). Given the AQZ announcement references 6 EDTO aircraft, then presumably some more international routes to come. Interesting that they kept this certification under wraps until now.
Given the continued expansion of QAN, presumably not long until the remaining 8 options are exercised, of course dependent on AQZ getting the additional E190’s serviced ready to enter service.
