No great insights on the secrecy other than an assumption that QAN not wanting to play its hand any earlier than necessary on how it might utilise the wet leased E190’s to keep competitors second guessing. AQZ can argue it’s not material information and therefore doesn’t need to be disclosed.

I’ve got to say AQZ has gone very quiet - haven’t checked but assume their hands are tied while the QAN Scheme Implementation Deed remains operative. Although the ACCC have rejected the clearance application, provided QAN continue to challenge the decision through the legal processes available, the SID still has 6 months until 15 December 2023 until it terminates. While operative, AQZ needs to continue to support the transaction and not do anything that could derail it.
