Sorry to be a downer, but not sure about your last point there RE: Russia.
IMO, it seems there are interesting things going on recently.
You have AFU finally accepting that certain efforts have been a terrible idea (Krynky).
Then, there are numerous Russian efforts along the length of the frontlines. Just check deepstateUA over recent weeks. It's not looking good.
I am hopeful that Kiev are reaching the end of the idea of sacrificing their people, and maybe negotiations soon. (Yeah I have thought this before. Maybe this time...)
