This is a great result. For those who aren't aware, this is not a clinical trial, these cells are being used as part of the expanded access program. This means clinicians can treat sick patients with the cells even though the product has not been officially approved. This product is effectively being used to treat patients today, and with good success. A 65% overall response outcome for patients at have failed the only other therapy ( corticosteroids ) is a good response rate. 82% survival given response is a good outcome. I also like how for those patients that did not have an overall response at day 28, when therapy was extended survival was improved to 72% for these patients who only had partial response. This is a great example of MSB cells working in clinical practice - this is the real world guys, not some lab experiment. We are involved in saving lives today. Well done to all.
