Won't the WCB Board say that 9.00 and possibly 9.20 is a bird in hand and a better bet than waiting up to 6 months for the ACT to make a decision? And that the decision might go against the 'national interest' argument?

If you think that political lobbying can get the ACCC to change its mind, that would be quite another matter. As we saw with BGA, the ACCC can make a declaration immediately. But I don't see any signs of them changing their mind, and if they don't, I come back to my previous point that MG have a time problem.

Don't underestimate the ability of friendly parties buying big quantities of BGA, having the effect of making their bid a viable alternative.
