It's a great announcement because it clearly indicates what Trevor was constantly saying when asked the question in relation to lifting graphite production.
Whilst many thought that this mine was a dud and it was not worth the trouble, Trevor thought otherwise and chose to acquire it because he believed the enormous potential that lay ahead to ramp up production and make plenty of money.
So far so good. He has put in place the necessary appointments recently to oversee this overhaul to get it to maximum effeciency at a time when the world is crying out for more graphite. Even the naysayers would have to admit this is a good thing moving forward.
Volt may not have the inflated market caps that our peers currently have, but one thing that Volt does possess is a producing graphite mine which is increasing it's production. Just a small thing that all these other graphite hopefuls currently DON'T have.
The increase in production will also be beneficial when Trevor sits down with the Banks in the future when discussing funding for Bunyu. There is nothing Banks like more than a company that shows it can actually make money, and has laid the necessary groundwork to increase revenues and profits. Clearly Volt have shown this to be the case.
Trevor has always said that the Ukraine mine was a great asset and a great buy. In time those that doubted him will understand the significance of this acquisition. It's just a pity that those who are currently selling at these ridiculous levels don't have the foresight to understand what Trevor is trying to achieve here for the benefit of all shareholders..
