My first read on it was that we are sinking crucial capital into demonstrating the merits of this product. With companies already embarking on trials I didn't see the point. But the costs involved do seem very low and whilst the company still hasn't realised a timetable, confirming a timeframe of "early 2018" (which I'm reading as Q1) isn't too far away
