Has been used in a pipeline before (with flowing but sticky field that previously needed excessive heating to flow).
I personally wanted them to developing own assets before or alongside, selling product to others.
By developing own assets they are in control of timetable, also more lucrative.
It is also an insurance policy in case someone out there cracks code.
From what I understand they were very close to buying a field for >$1m .
Consider this a bargain. Option with the biggest upside. Field which may be very rich when the consultants do the numbers on the resource.
With the new technical team and their breadth of expertise, I am confident they chose a great field from a technical perspective in terms of making it flow.
In the meantime they can surprise us with contracts for product sales as well as making others' field to flow.
I maintain that from now on we are in for many +ve surprises with SP always seeming too high to get in.
This has been commercialized previously. Does not need any validation.
