If anything this reduces the price at which a field or some system becomes uneconomic.
It does so by reducing maintenance costs as well as uplifting price of saleable product.
Furthermore, the wider industry is more open to cost cutting proposals when the price of oil is reduced and some fields or other installations become more marginal if not uneconomic.
