re: Ann: Independence Group Quarterly Activit... According to Newcrest, the higher cost mines are being mothballed. Tropicana must be one of the lower cost mines, on that scale, around currently.
If Newcrest can make a good turn with COP over $1k, then IGO should be making good $ as well.
Along with RIO's good results it maybe that a general rerating of the sector is occurring.
Assume exploration drilling s continuing around the major pits at Trop, so may be some upgrades soon.
All the above is pure speculation so DYOR.
As an almost 10 year holder, I've ridden the ups and downs so short term is never a consideration.
