“The most fractionated pegmatites in the Project area have K/Rb values of <10 and have coincident anomalous Cs and Ta. These very fractionated pegmatites correspond to rock chip samples with significantly elevated Li2O (up to 3.8% Li2O) and observed spodumene mineralisation. In this pegmatite system a K/Rb of <10 is indicative of a potentially mineralised pegmatite.”
Our neighbour AZS announced Metallurgical Testwork results on 9/10/2023 utilising 3 composite samples of diamond core from their AP0011 lithium mineralised pegmatite grading 1.29% Li2O, 1.43% Li2O and 1.38% Li2O. From the K and Rb information shown in this announcement I have calculated their K/Rb ratios to be 11.8, 11.0 and 9.38 respectively in these samples. They also show anomalous Cs and Ta ppm units similar to those shown in various announcements by Raiden. Subsequent drilling by Azure at AP0011 has confirmed this pegmatite to be the largest by far in either of their Target 1 or Target 2 areas.
I know I am relying on nearology again with this comparison but to me it is all adding up to be very compelling.
