Given the 3D underway at present, I'm a bit surprised MAY even bothered getting an independent assessment for Beehive. IMO it seems like a waste of money (for Beehive only) unless they ordered it prior to the approach from Santos/TOTAL in which case, it would have been handy to firm up MAY's figures in order to attract interest. Unfortunately the assessment has just clipped 170 mmboe off the previous best. I agree with Sin. Lets wait and see what Santos and TOTAL think about it based on their conclusions of the current seismic. If they don't farm in then I'd suggest Beehive will be dead in the water. If they do farm in, then eventually they will tell their junior partner what they are expecting and that will get released to us all as being something more relative. All IMO and please, DYOR
