As APE has stated, used car sales are bounding along very nicely.

The sole time I've listened to Mr Ward (CEO) I was very impressed with his knowledge and what seems to be his business acumen. Of course that's his job, but when I recently listened to for instance the ING Chairman (not a CEO and a different industry sector, chicken meat) I didn't have the same impression.

So I'll be tuning in as one can learn some useful tidbits from these discussions.

APE continues to make a determined effort to increase its profile. As its market capitalisation rises - as I write it's A$3.24 billion - it's no longer a minnow and so over time one could expect more analysts may take an interest in following how APE performs.

Like many companies it's faced (and faces, with for instance today's announcement of an ill-advised, likely to be ineffective six day lockdown in South Australia) ongoing challenges with the virus as while there's been a shift to digitalisation of car sales and purchases, many consumers quite rightly want to transact in person given the nature of the beast.
