FME could well be the first PGM miner in Australia? A couple of milestones they might need to overcome?
- is the MRE majority indicated as opposed to inferred? If it is mostly inferred then they have a major challenge in raising CAPEX? Most investors prefer to see indicated before parting with their $$$$ ? It is for this reason Chalice are releasing MRE#2 in a couple of weeks - to increase the confidence of the Gonneville mineralisation from inferred to indicated. It is a very costly process to do just that.
- There seems to be chromium everywhere? I read that chromium is problematic when it comes to extracting PGM metals? This may not be an issue if they are going to bulk mine and ship as is? South Africa has chromium issues in their platreef mines.
- They already have a mining license? and a BFS? Those are huge advantages for FME? They could well be in a position to start mining within 1-2 years?
I could be wrong and this is not investment advice. Please do your own research.
