I don't mind seeing posts from "all knowing ones"...it keeps the posts entertaining.
PEP11 and the whole no gas on my pristine beach is to be expected especially with an election looming.
Meanwhile EMP already have NOPTA approval to start drilling by August 2023, and is next door to existing gas plays along with being seen as a project on the Government radar in reports regarding the 2050 gas to renewables transition.
This would have to be the least nervous gas play in Victoria if not Australia.
And if there happens to be some concern regarding carbon offsetting, there are possibilities for that also, but as I see it, gas is needed in Victoria and is a concrete strategy to transition from coal towards renewables.
